Dr. Cleaner: Disk, Mem Clean App Reviews

I like this app, it can do cleaning for me automatically, but in case of any app crashes app will delete temporary files just at the moment the app crashes. That means that if some app stores backups of my files in temp directory it will be deleted immidietly. I wish to turn automatic temp folders cleaning off but that is not possible, at least now.

Ottimo. Efficace.

I have used this app on multiple machines and have not had any problems with performace. It has made a noticiable change to my mid 2010 macbook pro. Quick and responsive!

It gets the job done and does exactly what the description says.

I really like it, its made it possible for me to keep up with so many useless files on my computer. Its really cleaned up my storage.

While some may say “shady” or other negative comments about the seemingly “bait and switch” tactics used by this company, the reality is that a program so powerful and good as this one is worth paying for and cannot keep getting better if everyting is free…after all life does not work that way, and anyting good is worth paying for. This is a great and extremely easy to use program that cleans files, finds duplicates (if you buy the upgrade) and cleans the whole thing in matters of seconds. Its a tool worth having these days with the types of files we all save, and i wish i woul dhave found it a long time ago.

I have been using dr. cleaner for several versions and each time it seems to get better and better. I use it daily and have noticed that i get performace increases as a result. I like the u.i. and it is very stable.

its very hard to keep a clean disk when you make music and your lazy as sh**. Dr. clean gives me a handle on it. prior versions actually did not, however. i was horrified to fined the application was sweeping up behind me and trashing any plugin presets or samples i had made. Especially when you set it to auto clean at a certain threshold. bad joo joo. but I’m interested to see now i can protect these files, as well i learned my lesson……. maitianing a clean disk is no different than maintaining a clean room. takes work. BUT with this: a tough job is made easier. gear this toward producers and lay us a golden eggggggg plzzejkrngkej

My favorite part is that this app autodetects when you move an application to the trash, and cleans up the left over files. In addition to that, it also cleans up random junk files (caches, etc) that applications may leave over. I’d highly recommend it for sure. Review update (June 2016): Still love it, even better redesign with animation letting the most basic user understand memory management with a graph. Still 5 stars

I love the update. The app is easy to use and helps me make sure my computer gives otpimal power to the necessary tasks.

It tells me that it get the memory down to a 30-35% most of the time; i don’t know how accurate it is but it does make my mac run a bit quicker. A small noticible amount yes, A HUGE gain of speed…not really.

Simple, easy to use interface. Crisp clear and easy to understand. In minutes I freed up over 10g of storage, including things I had sworn I had deleted from iTunes and other apps.

It plain works, like most stuff for Apple products. It isn’t complicated and keeps things buttoned up. No complaints so far.

Does Exactly what I need it to do. Helps me keep my mac running at its full capacity. Easy to use and understand and manage. This app has beome such a part of my mac that I dont think I could ever get rid of it.

This is a wonderful and very useful app. Cleaned up so much storage on my computer and helps me to watch my memory usage on my computer. Would GLADLY pay for this if it wasn’t free.

So far, so good. In fact, excellent…. Since it’s only been a few days since installation, long-term value is still unknown. Works as advertised, simple to use, and results are clearly displayed in both graphic and text formats. One problem: When trying to contact the developers through their website(s), I was redirected to several bogus sites belonging to other companies, and had to close the browser to return to an active window for their home website. Bad PR for Trend Micro.
