The second app I downloaded when I got my MBP and I’m loving every second of using it. The interface is great at showing you how much memory your using, making you more aware of the hundreds of windows you may have open without even noticing. Keep up the great work Dr.!

After upgrading to El Capitan, I could only recover 50% of my RAM with the previous version. Now, with this updated version, I recover 70% and my MacBook (2013) runs faster.

Dr. Cleaner 3.0.0 is doing a great job of keeping the RAM optimized with my iMac. The app keeps check on the % being used so I don’t open too many apps, and keeps things smooth with Smart Memory Optimization as I close out apps. It performs the RAM optimization quite fast compared to other apps I’ve used in the past. The disk cleaning clearly shows what it can clean, before you run it, so you can deselect what’s appropriate rather than going roque and deleting everything in sight.

Previous to the latest update, Dr Cleaner had replaced my previous favorite memory optimization app; but with this last update, the UI has gotten less informative and, on top of that, the app itself consumes a ridiculous amount of memory. Activity Monitor revealed Dr Cleaner to be using 2.02Gb of memory — by itself. Between the less informative UI and the new memory problems with this app, I’ve gone back to the app I used before I got Dr Cleaner.

Love the new look. Still works the same, and that is FANTASTIC! Nice App to have.

An essential utility for Mac OS X! Highly recommended, and a great system enhancement to get the most out of hardware.

GOOD APP. EASY TO USE!!

I especially like how the uninstall apps cleans up the files that would usually be left behind when I just drag and drop the application into trash can.

The newest update might be prettier, but it doesn’t work nearly as well as the previous version. It’s using far too much memory and runs extremely slow. Will have to find an alternative.

The new update looks much better. Even though it takes much more space in the top when opened, it is a great upgrade. this app really does speed up my MacBook Pro and cleans it out too! Great App. Must have for lower or higher end machines.

I have been using this now for several months. Wish I would have gotten it sooner. Was having trouble with my MacBook Pro running sluggish. This app has cleaned it up and it is running like it did when new!

I have tons of storage that I couldn’t find but with this, it shows you. Way better than Cleanmy***3! Reccommend this to anyone who dosen’t have much space left. THIS APP IS AWESOME!

Used to have other app to mange memory, it’s been three days know and really happy about it.

This application was recently changed so that it now turns yesllow with an exclamation point, leading you to think that theres a problem with your system. When you click on it, it comes up with basically an advertisement for other products. For example: "Protect your Mac from security threats. [learn more]" I am uninstalling this application, because after six months of use, I havent felt that it really DOES anything useful. When it says that Im low on memory, the numbers dont match the memory pressure reported by the rest of the operating system. It does offer a little bit of value in cleaning up some temporary files, but Im not really low on disk space right now, and I can do all that myself with a shell script. Overall Im not impressed with this application. The fact that theyre now using it as an advertising platform is the deal-breaker.

I downloaded this app before they recently updated it to the new GUI. After using a few various RAM cleaners I compared this one to the actual RAM usage of the iMac and it was spot on. I removed the others and kept this one. The memory freeing worked better than others, but still left a little bit in Compressed. i have 8GB at work and 16GB at home. Before the update it would take my work iMac from 99% used to about 75% used on average. My home iMac from 85% to about 50%. Both with Google Chrome, Snagit, Live Chat, Photoshop and Apple Mail running. After the update it now takes my work iMac down to about 50% and my home iMac down to about 25% usage. I don’t know what they did with this update, but it is spectacular! I don’t care how much RAM you have, get it!
